Brother injured ankle playing golf. (LADIES TEE'S)

As the Joseph family try's to get a last round of golf in before the winter sets in, brothers Bob, Tom, Danny, sisters Theresa and Mary, Steve, CJ, and Zach gathered their clubs and skirts to have a fun and competitive round of golf. As Tom was playing his own scramble format in the woods, he had disappeared out of sight on the first hole. The other Bro's were expecting a ball to come flying out of the woods at any moment, but all they saw was sister Theresa walking toward the zip-code that Tom was in. Next thing you know, a Ranger is on the radio calling for medical assistance because they had a GOLF INJURY. This is the first Torch lake golf injury since 1907. Tom somehow tripped over his girly parts!!! The same thing happened in 1907 to a man named Harry Tampon, who found his new product line to be a little uncomfortable (the string gets in the way). Feel free to call Tom at his cottage to give him some support or golf tips. From your loving southern hospitality Bro!!!!!!!!!! Tony

UPDATE: July 28, 10:15PM: Thank goodness, the doctors at the hospital targeted (lesson here, Tom) their patient right away and diligently took Tom back to the OB/GYN emergency room. All is well, it's just a sprain! Tom, you have to look out for that black ice out there at Torch Lake golf course...oh gee, it's July isn't it?

Mom Needs Your Prayers

Mom will be starting cortisone shots on Wednesday, April 19th. We, as a family, need to support Mom with the power of prayer that the shots will relieve her back pain to avoid surgery. She also needs visitors, letters, phone calls, etc., not just from the children, but EVERYONE in the family! We all have busy lives, sometimes too much to even get our daily chores done, but take some time out of your busy schedule to extend a hand. Remember, it's not what you say that people remember, it's how you made them feel!

Looking for a New Position
I guess it has been a year of changes and turmoil for many of us. After working in High Ticket Sales for 9 years, my place of business is downsizing.
I thought I would get the word out to my family. If we are only 6 people away from everyone else in the world, if I tell the Joseph family, I've told about 11% of the American public.
I have worked in sales my whole life. I have run a family business. I have worked in different aspects of the construction and building industry. I am adept at administration duties and can adapt to almost any situation.
If you know anyone looking for an extraordinary employee, pass my name on.
thanks.
God Bless.
Mary
Home Phone 586 997 2636
email: mkess997@aol.com

Who's There?

Three old ladies are sitting in a diner, chatting about various things. One lady says, "You know, I'm getting really forgetful. This morning, I was standing at the top of the stairs, and I couldn't remember whether I had just come up or was about to go down." The second lady says, "You think that's bad? The other day, I was sitting on the edge of my bed, and I couldn't remember whether I was going to bed or had just woken up!" The third lady smiles smugly. "Well, my memory's just as good as it's always been, knock on wood." She raps the table. With a startled look on her face, she asks, "Who's there?!"

Prayers for Aunt Anne

Aunt Anne, while visiting in Florida, decided to spend a few days with Uncle Mel. While there, she suffered a fall in the bedroom resulting in a fractured hip. She successfully underwent emergency surgery last night February 2nd and had 3 pins installed in her hip. She's in Naples Community Hospital in Naples, Florida in the orthopedic ward where she is expected to spend the next 3-4 days. When she is ready, she'll be moved to the physical therapy section of the hospital where she is expected to spend approximately the next three weeks. She is receiving visitors, but is currently quite uncomfortable despite the maximum amount of pain medication. Please keep Aunt Anne in your prayers as we wish her a speedy recovery. More information will be posted here as we receive it. From Tom - 3 February 2006

Prayers for Garrett

Update January 14, 2006: Garrett is home now He's doing well, and bandages are off his face. The only hitch on going back to school is the neck and shoulder injuries, which are still in bandages, so they are afraid of him getting germs at school which could infect his open skin. He seems to be handling it fine. -- Pam II (info from Doris)

Joe and Wendy's 6 year-old son, Garrett, was burned at home by hot water on Friday. He is in the trauma burn center in Hurley Hospital in Flint. He was burned on his neck, shoulder, and part of his face. He is doing better and they are hoping he will be able to come home this week. Please pray for a quick recovery for Garrett. If you'd like to send him some get-well cards, I'm sure he'd love them. Their address is: 8948 Woodlawn Avenue, Clarkston, MI 48348-3480 I'll keep you posted as I hear how he is doing. -- Pam II (info from Doris)
